The manufacturer of every vehicle has a schedule of services that they recommend you follow. These are set out in your vehicle’s logbook
You must follow this servicing schedule in order to maintain compliance with the terms of your vehicle’s warranty.
But you don’t have to have a dealer, who is part of the manufacturers network, do that servicing. By law you can choose where to take your vehicle for that servicing.
